The brief statement herein made shows how prosperous is the presentcondition of the mining industry of California, and it also proves thatinstead of being in a state of decadence, there is a steady and largeincrease in value of annual output, which has extended over a periodof years and still continues. With this report is presented copies of all bulletins, reports, andmaps and registers which have been issued since December, 1902, andwhich have been herein submitted. LEWIS E.
