1977 archive photograph of HMS Carrick moored on the River Clyde at the Broomielaw in central Glasgow. Originally built in 1864, she is the world's oldest surviving clipper ship. She was originally named City of Adelaide and built to transport passengers between Britain and Australia. She was moved from the Clyde to Prince's Dock in 1989 but sank a year later. Eventually she was to be demolished in 2000 but was saved to be moved to Adelaide, Australia, as a museum ship in 2013.

NB: Photograph was taken in April 1977, exact day is not known.
