Alberobello is a small town and comune in the province of Bari, in Puglia, Itria Valley in Italy. Alberobello is famous for trulli, traditional Apulian stone dwellings with a conical roofs. The roofs are constructed in two layers: an inner layer of limestone boulders, capped by a keystone, and an outer layer of limestone slabs ensuring that the structure is watertight. Trulli in Alberobello are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
