The photographic exhibition, at whichsixty pictures were shown by nine exhibi-tors, was an interesting feature of themeet. The prizes of a gentlemans and aladys ice axes were awarded to the Pres-ident and to Mr. Bridgland, but all theexhibits reached a high standard of ex-cellence. REPORT OF SECRETARY The annual meeting was held around. SIR SANDFORD FLEMING, C. E. K. OF THE CLUB. M. G. L. L. D. the camp-fire on the evening of July chief business of the meeting was aresolve to build in the near future a ClubHouse at Banff, where the Clubs head-quarters ought to be. Some fifty mem-bers promised to contribute^ $ eachto the scheme. A suitable site of threeand a half acres on the side of SulphurMountain has been generously leased usby the Dominion government; and weexpect soon to have there a buildingworthy ot the Club, which will give us 462 ROD AND GUN AND MOTOR SPORTS IN CANADA new visibility and a home to our growing-library. Such a Club House will be theheadquarters at which to rally our mem-bers tor alpine work in the mountains,and from which to organize camps at ad-vantageous points so that members maymake up parties and go from one to theother at timesconvenient for them,findinggood accommodation at each.
