Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko and Air Force Lt. Col. Christopher Ridlon, 194th Fighter Squadron commander, discuss the Clear Sky 2018 exercise as Airmen from the 144th Fighter Wing watchon. The president visited Starokostiantyniv Air Base, Ukraine, Oct. 11 in order to observe the exercise. Clear Sky 18 is the first large-scale, air-centric, multinational regional security exercise that United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa has sponsored in eastern Europe since 2014.
