I would mention that the lastspecimen I procured was a single buck, which I shot in the vicinity of 135 Berkeley Bay on my return from Uganda in 1893. It was lying at the edgeof a papyrus-swamp, and as it sprang off at my approach a lucky snap-shotsecured for me the finest head I possess of this Antelope. Fig. Head of Cohus ihomasi, S ?(P. Z.
