In man eacliinnominatum is articulated behind with the sacrum by thesacro-iliac synchondrosis, and joined in front with its fel-low by the pubic symphysis. The iliac part is flattenedand expansive; the ischiac and pubic parts are narrower,and by their rami meet again to circumscribe the obturator.
