Chichester Ship Canal is a small but important remnant of the old inland route from London to Portsmouth which is being restored as a leisure waterway linking historic Chichester to the sea. Now in the care of the Chichester Ship Canal Trust work is underway to open additional lengths of the canal. Open to anglers, canoeists, cyclists, walkers and model boat enthusiasts – the canal is attracting more and more visitors.
