Theplan contemplates a central building,in which on the first floor are a recep-tion room, office, dining room andkitchen, operating and recovervrooms; on the second floor are thematernity rooms and rooms for ma-tron and nurses ; in the attic are ser-vants quarters; the laundry and hotwater heating apparatus are in thebasement. A sun corridor to theright connects with the womensward. This ward has three open beds and four beds in rooms. A similarcorridor on the left connects the mainbuilding with the mens ward, whichalso has three open beds and fourbeds in rooms. The ordinary ca-pacity of this hospital for patients istherefore seven men, seven women,four maternity cases and two an emergency there may be one inthe recovery room and two in eachalcove in the war
