The Pratts Bottom May Queen is crowned at the Village Fete
Pratts Bottom is a village on the outskirts of suburban London and has a large annual Village Fete on the village green, with a parade up the hill including several May Queen realms from neighbouring areas, local beauty queens, a marching band and children in fancy dress. The Pratts Bottom May Queen is crowned in a ceremony at the official opening of the fete. There are stalls around the village green, teas in the church hall and of course a village pub. A team of Morris Men came to dance at the Fete.
