From the Kerkboog in the direction of Burchtstraat; a postcard. The Kerkboog is also called the Stevenspoortje. The design of the passage was made by Claes Die Waele and the construction started in 1542. In 1605 the arch was provided with a new top façade, designed by Hans Vredeman de de Gate was enlarged it was a small passage, the existence of this can be found since 1382. During the bombing of Nijmegen, the gate suffered little damage.
