Manicaland, eastern Zimbabwe. An ad for Econet wireless service on the lands of a small farm below a granite rock fomation, known as a Kopje. Econet is the largest wireless network in Zimbabwe, and also offeres a phone payment service, Ecocash. In June 2020 the Government of Zimbabwe declared it would shut down Ecocash, claiming the company has used unofficial currency exchange ratio, and thus contributed to the inflation in the country. This step will have grave results, as Ecocash serves as a substitute for bank account for many of the country's poor population.
