The cloister of Convento de San Esteban in Salamanca, Spain. A Dominican monastery, the Convento de San Esteban (Saint Stephen) was built in 1524 on the initiative of Cardinal Juan Alvarez de Toledo. Considered to be an excellent example of Plateresque style, the convent also features other styles such as Gothic and late Baroque due to the length of time of construction.
