French, Mixed Colors—Double flowers, rich, dark shade. 5 Dahlia Flowered—Very rank and tall, studded with enormous double Dahlia-like flowers. The colors range from the palest canary-yellow to a deep, full orange 1 5 Dwarf Giant Flowered—This is of the French class and grows only twelve to fifteen inches high while the flowers are as large and double as those of the African class and of the richest colors imaginable. Some will be pure golden-yellow, others rich velvety crimson-brown, others will be striped, or bordered, while some will have a golden center surrounded by a rich band of dark color, and others will be quar- tered or halved 10. Legion of Honor—Plant very dwarf and compact, bear- ing its flowers well above the foliage. These are of large size, and exceedingly striking, owing to the wide contrast in their colors. The center of the flower is a bright brownish red, while the outer half is fine golden yellow. It is really the prettiest Marigold we have ever seen, and should be in every garden. The whole plant is a solid pyramid of Dloom. 5 X\ ^. Miribilis-(Four O'Clocks.) Plants are crowded for months with innumerable silk- like flowers of the most ravishing colors, and exhaling a delicious perfume. Indeed, the celebrated "Jockey aub" perfume is made from Longiflora.
