Henri Toulouse-Lautrec in the garden at the Chateau de Malrome with his mother, Countess Adèle de Toulouse-Lautrec, in the early 1890’s. The chateau, which was owned by the Countess, is in Saint-André-du-Bois, a commune in the Gironde department in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Henri was a frequent visitor and it was there that he died in 1901.
