These objects were cut from the shafts of hollow leg bones of several different animals, both adult and young. The rings range in outside diameter from to cm., in width from to cm., and in thick- ness from to Please note that these images are extracted from scanned page images that may have been digitally enhanced for readability - coloration and appearance of these illustrations may not perfectly resemble the original Martin, Paul S.
