Pro Communists demonstrate outside of Moscow City Hall in March of 1993 at the start of the Russian Constitutional crisis. The crisis came from the Russian Congress of People’s Deputies attempts to take power away from then Russian President Boris Yeltsin. In September of 1993 Yeltsin dissolved the Congress, in response the Congress declared vice president Aleksandr Rutskoy acting president. Photo by Chuck Nacke
