Beautiful Black Headed Impala in Etosha Reserve, Namibia

This image of a Back Headed Impala was taken in the Etosha Reserve in Namibia, West Africa. Just before the photo was taken the photographer was about to shoot images of half-a-dozen female impalas. The male saw what was going on and prodded the does back into the bushes . Instead of disappearing after them the male Impala stood its ground in front of the camera as though it thought that it should be the model!
