Walensee or Wallensee is a narrow mountain lake in Switzerland, between St. Gall and Glarus cantons, in Eastern Switzerland. It is connected with Zurich by the Linth Canal. Wallenstadt, on the east shore, is a summer resort and the chief town on the lake.
