DJIBOUTI, Africa (Oct. 6, 2011) – More than 150 service members from the French, Djiboutian and United States militaries walk across the Djibouti desert during a 5th French Marine Regiment-sponsored desert combat training course September 13. The service members navigated 50 miles of Djiboutian desert by foot during the 10-day course. Forty members of the Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa and Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, participated in the training.
