There arc .also three small span-roofedplant-houses glazed on Beards principle and healedwilh hot water, where various kinds of stove andgreenhouse plants are successfully grown. On theroof of one of them we observed a fine example ofthe Marechal Niel Rose ; on another Allamandagrandiflora, and Bougainvillea glabra, Stephan-otis floribunda, &c.
