The very start of the Warsaw Uprising, 'W' Hour 1 August 1944. A patrol led by lt. Stanislaw Jankowski 'Agaton' from the 'Fist' Battalion at the Kazimierz Wielki Square on their way to Srodmiescie. The Warsaw Uprising was a massive attempt by the Polish Home Army to defeat the Wehrmacht and SS Occupation towards the end of WW2.
