Repp was born in Pittsburgh, Aug. 18,1864, son of Charles and Barbara Repp, long residentsof the city. He attended the public schools of Pitts-burgh, and was graduated from high school in the classof 1881, the year following entering the employ of Logan,Gregg & Company in the capacity of clerk. His industry,application, and quick comprehension of all details of thebusiness gained approving recognition, and he was ad-vanced through several grades of service, in 1896, uponthe incorporation of the business as the Logan-GreggHardware Company, becoming general manager and adirector of the company.
