Son Tra near Da Nang, Vietnam. This nature reserve on a forested peninsula is home to the most beautiful monkey on Earth The Red-shanked Douc. I spent a week with a local conservationist who works tirelessly in the field every day to monitor and protect them. He is a key member of a small NGO set up by a retired university professor who risked her life during the Vietnam War to study these primates.
