London, UK. 9th September 2017 Police lead away a woman arrested for sitting on the road at the Festival of Resistance against DSEI Arms Fair to block lorries entering with arms. The Defence & Security Equipment International, backed by the UK government, is where arms companies and arms dealers sell weapons to countries around the world including many repressive regimes. The road at the East Gate was blocked by a lock-on by two protestersand others including this group sat on the road in front of it, with a large group holding a Quaker meeting. Police tried to clear the road and made several

Police tried to clear the road and made several arrests including the two involved in the lock-in and another who lay under the wheels of the lorry.
