Dr. Thomas Menzies, (,.M., burn iiih May, 1781 (parish of Dull Registers), son of \\illiam, greatgrandson of Sir Alex., ist Bart., was sent to the University of Glasgow, where he became Doctor of Medicineand Surgery and CM He had medical dispensaries at 116 Nelson Street and Kirk Street, with hisresidence at 8 St. Andrew Square, Glasgow. He married Janet Campbell, 7th Sept., 1812, parish of Barony,Glasgow, Registrar, cousin of Sir James Campbell of Stracathro, Lord Provost of Glasgow, and by her hadthree sons, ist, Dr. John. He married Miss .Scott, who predeceased him. He went to Australia, wherehe died. 2nd, Thomas Marshall. 3rd, David Ferguson. Dr. Thomas died 14th Jan., 1832, and is buriedin the south east corner of Cathedral, where a Granite Celtic Cross and Memorial Stone markshis resting place. He was great-great-grandson of S
