Prince Adalbert of Bavaria(1828 - 1875),34 pieces of vermeil silverware from his dessert service Made by the Royal Bavarian Court Jeweller Mayrhofer in Munich around 1850. Augsburg corded decoration. Gilt silver,the handles and shafts are engraved with the mirror monogram "A" beneath the Bavarian royal crown. Marked with "Mayrhofer",the Munich city mark,and the hallmark "13 F". Consists of twelve knives with steel blades(marked "ZEH"),six knives with vermeil blades,five spoons,six forks,and five ice cream spoons. Lengths between 14 and 20 cm.
