Wellboat delivery. Freshness on the store shelf has always been a priority for us. Wellboats containing two vats of water that closely replicate the farm water in terms of salinity and oxygen levels, suck the live salmon from the cages on the farm they transport them the short distance to one of thier two processing plants, they can monitor the fish from collection to dispatch. Cameras in the tanks let them see how the salmon are behaving. Water temperature is carefully regulated to help them settle and stay calm, avoiding stress factors which inevitably affect the quality of the fish.
