The principal concern seemed to be the local exhibits and, after a thorough discussion of this ques- tion, I'resident Waters appointed the following committee to secure carna- tion exhibits for the show: A. J. Zech, Guy French, Geo. J. Ball, Paul R. Klings- porn. This committee has been given instruction to do everything possible to insure a creditable display of carna- tions from this district. President Waters put on a drive for members for the Illinois State Florists' Association and as a result A. T. Pyfer, at this meeting, succeeded in adding nine new members to this organization.
