Shot through Tower Bridge, a volunteer plants red ceramic poppies at the Tower of London as a memorial to the dead of the First World War. The installation, Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red, was created by ceramic artist Paul Cummins, with setting by stage designer Tom Piper. A total of 888,246 ceramic poppies, one for each British fatality in the war, will progressively fill the Tower’s famous moat.
