A Breeches Buoy practice post at Trevose Head Cornwall

This is an Old Coast guards breeches buoy practice post at Trevose Head Cornwall. Date of erection or use is unknown but the light house was built in 1857 so I assume it predates that. The image could be used as a humorous "What is it?" item. Seems to be used by children as a fun thing to climb.
