Toledo, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. Shrine of Cristo de la Luz. Former mosque, built at the end of the 10th century and converted into a Christian church in the 12th century. Architectural detail of the northwest facade. Built in brick, it has three semicircular arches framed by horseshoe arches, with openings leading to the prayer room. The upper part is composed of poly-lobed arches framing horseshoe arches of caliphal-style, decorated with voussoirs.
