Gauls on Horseback
The Gauls lived in what is present-day France. The Gauls entered Rome in 390 and sacked the city, except for the fortress on the Capitoline Hill, which held out until reinforcements arrived and the Gauls were driven back. Here, two Gauls on horseback approach Rome.
