Signs around the Bayerischer Platz area are thought provoking Jewish memorial about treatment of Jews during Nazi era, Schöneberg, Berlin, Germany The Memorial is a work created in 1993 by Berlin-based artists Renata Stih and Frieder Schnock. The public art installation (named Orte des Erinnerns, or Places of Remembrance) consists of 80 placards bearing simple graphics and a short description of the anti-Semitic legislation. The regulations deprived Jews and other 'non-Aryans’ of their jobs, rights possession and often their lives.
