SECRET BRIDGE -The Labrador dog is sitting on a now overgrown pack-horse bridge that is all but hidden from view on the fields at Ruswarp (looking towards the present bridge from the direction of Whitby in North Yorkshire). It connected with the old monks trod to Cock Mill in Golden Grove Woods at a time when the river Esk took a different course to the present.
