PACIFIC OCEAN (April 15, 2021) Aviation Ordnanceman 1st Class Damon McVay, from Midland, Texas, observes an E-2D Hawkeye assigned to the “Wallbangers” of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron (VAW) 117 as it prepares to land on the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln is underway conducting routine operations in the 3rd Fleet area of operations.
