Carving on a City of London building of two mice fighting over piece of cheese. Sometimes described as London's smallest statue.

This carving of two mice fighting over a piece of cheese is on a building in Philpot Lane in the City of London and dates from 1862. it is thought to be a reference to two men who were working on the Monument nearby and fell to their deaths during a fight over a missing cheese sandwich - the sandwich was subsequently discovered to have been taken by mice.
