Another143d Regiment was soon in the field, and the confusion arisingfrom the mingling of the papers relating to the two commands,in the offices of the state and national War Departments, en-tailed no small labor on Adjutant .\shhurst, who accomplishedthe task of straightening the record during the autumn.
