The Naples Municipal Fishing Pier is centrally located on the Municipal Beach in Naples, Florida. It has free access and dates back to 1888. It originally was a passenger and freight dock for commercial purposes. The City of Naples has purchased a bulk fishing license for the pier so fishermen do not need a license to fish from the pier. The pier is THE place on the Gulf of Mexico's Florida coastline to catch a spectacular sunset; daily attracting scores of people along with the fishermen to watch the setting sun.
