The bellows may be very well made froma piece of brown paper, over one side ofwhich has been pasted a suitable-sizedpiece of black linenette, or any thin softmaterial. Before folding, the bellowsshould measure at the large end about9| in. by 7f in., tapering to about 5 in. by4 in. at the small end; they should be25 in. to 27 in. long. The folds should bemade a very little over i in. deep, and itwill then be found that the bellows willbe a little over 8^ in. by 6^ in. at the backend, and 4 in. by .3 in. at the front end. Ifpreferred, an oblong bellows can be used,.
