Taipei, Taiwan - 22 August 2005; Lovingly crafted in painted wooden beams, in the traditional style, this is Taiwan's National Theatre. Facing it is the National Concert Hall; these twinned performing arts venues are located in the grand Liberty Square in Zhongzheng District, Taipeii. Completed in 1987, the landmarks stand on the south and north sides of the square with the massive Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall to the east.
