The original Surrender is preserved in the Augmentation Office, andhas an impression of the Common Seal of the Abbey attached, in redwax (from which the annexed is engraved); with a Letter from theVisitors, recommending the Religious to the Kings favour, on accountof their readiness to yield to his measures.
