Montmajour Abbey, Arles, France. This Benedictine abbey dates from the 10th century, with the tower seen here (the Pons de l'Orme) being built in the 14th century. The rock graves in the foreground date from between the 11th and 14th centuries. They were carved from the rock and vary in size and shape. Some would have originally had stone slabs covering them.
