A striking illustration of the resultof ignoring the law just cited is the seam-less crown, that flimsy abomination thatyour office boy can make in sevenminutes ( !) In this instance a piece ofmetal, greater in dimension than thespace which it is to occupy, is forced intothe shape of a cup by means of a plunger.
