These stone plinths topped with Doddington sandstone bass relief panels depicting the history of Innerleithen were sculpted by Mary Kenny in 2001. There are 7 plinths, 2 being hidden from this viewpoint. Pirn Hill is the site of an Iron Age hill fort and the hill in the background is Pirn Craig.
