Editorial use only. The venerable paddle steamer Maid of the Loch used to plough the waves of Loch Lomond until it was laid up at Balloch. It is currently being used as a stationary exhibit and the public can get access. There is also a cafe and sales area. Funding is being raised to rebuild the vessel with an aim to get it back into service again. New masts were fitted in June 2008 and are featured in this image.
