I know no more enticinghors doeuvre than that big silver bowl ofcracked ice encrusted with radishes, ripe andstuffed olives, gherkins and whatnots, with afountain of celery and carrot strips gracefullyrising from its center. Lets have a good sauce to dip the celery,carrots and radishes in, and I urge individualdishes for the sauce. Communal dunking is abit awkward and disturbing to conversation. To accompany the lievres aux champignons(remember, rabbits?) well have two hotvegetables.
