Consisting of a glass Staining Dish with loosely fitting flat glass cover which permits stacking, and removable Rack of nickel silver which takes slides in horizontal position in individual slots. The Dishes have been specially de- signed for use with these Racks and are now made in new private moulds, with heavy walls and slightly tapering sides, carefully finished throughout. Outside dimensions of the Dish for thirty slides are 5 inches long X 4 inches wide at top X 3 inches high; outside dimensions of the Dish for 50 slides are 8*4 inches long X 4^2 inches wide at top X 3^ inches high. Inside dimensions of both dishes accommodate 3X1, 3 X 1%, or 3 X 2-inch slides with economical use of staining solutions. The Racks are of nickel silver, with solderless joints, and are resistant to the action of most of the reagents used in staining 9206B. 9203-B. 9204.
