As the individual stone has its part in rearing the moun-tain, so the organization of our regiment, we are happy to sayand show, bore a very honorable part in the most worthy ef-forts of the army and navy of the United States. - In telling this story, as you, surviving comrades, haveasked the committee to, we shall do what seems to us repre-sents our regiment fairly.
