Kristin Giles of Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport's Platform and Payload Integration Department recently won the Career Communications Group Women of Color Magazine's Technology Rising Star Award. She will be honored at the Women of Color STEM Conference award ceremony this fall in Detroit, Michigan.
